About Us

Soloof was found­ed with the vision of devel­op­ing a future-proof solu­tion that enables elec­tric­i­ty from pho­to­volta­ic sys­tems to be used effi­cient­ly and eco­nom­i­cal­ly by var­i­ous tenants/users in build­ings and build­ing com­plex­es.

Through numer­ous dis­cus­sions with coop­er­a­tives and own­ers of com­mer­cial prop­er­ties and mul­ti-fam­i­ly homes, we rec­og­nized that the two exist­ing mod­els for ener­gy dis­tri­b­u­tion with­in a build­ing – col­lec­tive build­ing sup­ply and ten­ant elec­tric­i­ty – have legal uncer­tain­ties that are not con­clu­sive­ly resolved and there­fore do not pro­vide a secure invest­ment basis.

Consequently, we devel­oped the Soloof House Energy Solution (SHES), a solu­tion that oper­ates with­in a clear­ly defined legal frame­work and does not require approvals from the local grid oper­a­tor.

We aim to bring the ener­gy tran­si­tion direct­ly into build­ings – fair­ly, trans­par­ent­ly, and legal­ly secure.

Uwe Stöhr – Founder and CEO of Soloof

Engineer with a German Ph.D., inter­na­tion­al­ly expe­ri­enced solar ener­gy spe­cial­ist.

As the founder of Soloof, he is respon­si­ble for the tech­ni­cal and legal foun­da­tion of all con­cepts and ensures that solu­tions are imple­ment­ed effi­cient­ly, sus­tain­ably, and in com­pli­ance with the law.
