It enables to sup­ply local­ly gen­er­at­ed solar pow­er direct­ly to the var­i­ous tenants/lessees in a build­ing or build­ing com­plex – in a dynam­ic, cost-effec­tive, and sus­tain­able man­ner.

⚙️ Cost-effective and efficient

While exist­ing solu­tions divide the roof area so that mul­ti­ple sys­tems are built on it, with each sys­tem sup­ply­ing a spe­cif­ic tenant/lessee, with the SHES only one sys­tem needs to be built per roof. The dis­tri­b­u­tion to ten­ants hap­pens dynam­i­cal­ly in real time via the cen­tral con­trol unit. This saves instal­la­tion costs and is ener­gy effi­cient.

🧩 Flexible and future-proof

The SHES is device-inde­pen­dent. Modules, stor­age units and invert­ers from any man­u­fac­tur­er can be com­bined. This keeps every sys­tem future-proof, as any com­po­nent can be replaced if nec­es­sary. Furthermore, any sys­tem can be expand­ed or adapt­ed at any time.

🧾 Transparent Billing

All con­sump­tion is record­ed using MID-com­pli­ant elec­tric­i­ty meters. Each ten­ant pays for the amount of elec­tric­i­ty they have drawn from the sys­tem. Soloof offers var­i­ous ser­vices to sup­port this. As billing can be done month­ly, ten­ant turnover is not a prob­lem. Legally, the elec­tric­i­ty sup­ply can also be made part of the rental agree­ment.

📈 Quick Amortization

Due to the flex­i­ble choice of sys­tem com­po­nents, the amor­ti­za­tion peri­od for the SHES for most build­ings is in the range of 4–7 years. Your ten­ants ben­e­fit from the SHES from the very first bill. SHES sys­tems can lat­er be retro­fit­ted if tech­nol­o­gy or prices improve in the future.
