Soloof House Energy Solution (SHES)
- Do you want your tenants/lessees/cooperative members to benefit directly from electricity generated by the building’s roof?
- Do you want to be able to offer electricity to your tenants, increasing your revenue while allowing them to benefit from affordable power?
- Do you already have a photovoltaic system installed but lack a solution for distributing the electricity to different tenants?
Then the SHES is your solution. The SHES is a central and efficient energy supply system for apartment houses, business parks and housing cooperatives. It enables to supply locally generated solar power directly to the various tenants/lessees in a building or building complex – in a dynamic, cost-effective, and sustainable manner.
These are the key features of the SHES:
⚙️ Cost-effective and efficient
While existing solutions divide the roof area so that multiple systems are built on it, with each system supplying a specific tenant/lessee, with the SHES only one system needs to be built per roof. The distribution to tenants happens dynamically in real time via the central control unit. This saves installation costs and is energy efficient.
🧩 Flexible and future-proof
The SHES is device-independent. Modules, storage units and inverters from any manufacturer can be combined. This keeps every system future-proof, as any component can be replaced if necessary. Furthermore, any system can be expanded or adapted at any time.
🧾 Transparent Billing
All consumption is recorded using MID-compliant electricity meters. Each tenant pays for the amount of electricity they have drawn from the system. Soloof offers various services to support this. As billing can be done monthly, tenant turnover is not a problem. Legally, the electricity supply can also be made part of the rental agreement.
📈 Quick Amortization
Due to the flexible choice of system components, the amortization period for the SHES for most buildings is in the range of 4–7 years. Your tenants benefit from the SHES from the very first bill. SHES systems can later be retrofitted if technology or prices improve in the future. Please also see our solutions for retrofits.
